Easter Saturday

My Easter treat, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.

My hubby and two boys were out the back today building what I thought was a wood box. As I was in my bedroom studying I left them to it and didn't go outside to see what they were up to.  After a while they came inside with this lovely coffee table and said: "Happy Easter mum." The table is made from recycled wood from  a timber fence. I love it. We live in a house made from corregated iron that is in the shape of a barn, so this coffee table suits our home perfectly. Thanks boys, you've done well.

This tea light holder was made by Josh a while back. One day he wants to be a builder. We encourage our boys to be what ever they want to be and to follow their dreams, but I've got my fingers crossed. I can picture us living in a timber cottage with a timber veranda.

Snapdragons from our garden. They are in an old milk bottle that was my Grandmother's.
